CANMORE COUPLET
Two easy hikes combined into a day full of sights, history and fun. Explore Grotto Canyon with its ancient pictographs and flowing stream. Follow up with Grassi Lakes, with its shimmering green pools and waterfall overlooking the town of Canmore.

YAMNUSKA BLUFFS
Take this historic trail carved by Fire and Game Guardians almost a century ago to the open panorama of the legendary Bow Valley. Have lunch under Castle Mountain's vertical ramparts. Learn about how fire and ice shaped the landscape and life spreading before your eyes.

LARCH VALLEY
Winding up a switchbacked trail through spruce forest, you catch glimpses of Moraine Lake. Coming into the highest parts of the forest, you are greeted by the elusive and rare larch trees, later to find Minestimma Lakes and the breathtaking Sentinel Pass.

Your destination lies beyond Lake Louise. Hidden among hanging glaciers is a cozy teahouse built by CP Rail in 1927. Sit in for tea and enjoy the otherworldly views.
Elevation Gain: 370m, Distance: 11km, Difficulty: Moderate.
C-LEVEL CIRQUE
Cascade Mountain, where people once tirelessly mined coal, you will enjoy sweeping views of Lake Minnewanka. This is where natural and human history merged and separated over 100 years ago. Finish your hike above a massive cirque, a rounded formation carved by avalanches and ancient glaciers.

Distance: 10km, Difficulty: Moderate/Strenuous.
Wind Ridge
Our most challenging hike is worth the reward: a 360-degree view of the Bow Valley and the sensation of standing directly above the town of Canmore. This hike passes over streams and through forests of protected animals to spectacular heights.
